What a wonderful couple.  I instantly connected with these two and their pup and felt as if I could have hung out all day.  I can’t wait to meet the little one and hope (hint hint) I am invited back when he/she arrives

I just love the peaceful dreamy feel of that one!  Look at her glow…pretty lady.

We also took advantage of the glorious weather and headed outside for a few more shots…

Our next mission was to capture the pretty pink cherry blossoms.  And for a man who would rather not be in front of the camera Thomas has some excellent shooting ideas!  I may just have to hire him as my assistant.

Now this little darlin’ was fiesty first time round.  Mom was really hoping for some snuggly sleepy shots and baby R had a different plan.  So we booked another time to get together and this time little R nailed his photo shoot!  I just had to share a few more shots of this sweet, SLEEPY boy…

Baby Ronan / New Westminster / Newborn Photography / Bounce Images

What a small world!  Mom contacted me to photograph this little miracle.  When I arrived, I was quick to discover I had grown up next door to Dad!  Congratulations to the two of you on Ronan’s arrival

Now little Ronan was 18 days old and already had a mind of his own.  He didn’t feel much like sleeping and showed strength beyond his days – busting out of most poses – BUT cute beyond words.  Despite all of this we managed to get some great shots.  Ronan you are one lucky little dude…the love in your house was unmeasurable.

I told you he was cute.  Perfect little nose, perfect little lips, perfect little toes…you get the picture!

Don’t you just love the bond between a baby and a mother.

It is my pleasure to introduce the “P” family.  They are my friends and neighbors.  We were so lucky to have such kind, fun loving people move in when another family left our neighborhood 3 years ago.  We headed out spontaneously when the weather broke on Remembrance Day (an a.m. phone call…can you be ready in an hour?) but no rain is no rain!!

Meet N & M.  N and I work together and she is one of the most generous, compassionate, funny and big hearted people I know.  Our residents lives are enriched because she helps care for them and sets an example for other staff.  I was very excited to photograph her and her bro!  The challenge with brother/sister shoots (for me anyway) is to ensure that they do NOT look like engagement pictures!!!  So right out of the box, while we are busy shooting, a passer by yells “just kiss her.”  This sent us into a fit of laughter and I’m sure helped everyone relax a little.  It lead N to turn to her brother and say “please don’t kiss me!”

The “J” Family / Family Photography, Langley BC / Bounce Images

Now this family is near and dear to my heart.  I used to work with C and then fell head over heels for his wife!! Ha Ha.  Upon meeting, A and I immediately found we had soooo much in common.  We often joke that we should have married each other so that our OCD tendancies could flourish and everything would stay color coded and in the right box.  Our families spend a lot of time together and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

I was so excited for this beautiful fall day to finally come.  We had rescheduled 3 times and finally good weather was upon us.  I am very happy with the results and I hope the donuts were worth every ounce of cooperation (tee hee)!  Enjoy your sneak peek “J” family.

Isn’t she cute?!  This little one is a sweetheart.  Her mom warned me about her spirited personality when booking this session, however she was an absolute dolly for me.  And aside from a few bumps and bruises    (oh this age is dangerous!)…she was a happy girl.  Not to mention on the move, move, move.  With further ado…..

Dad was hoping for one with mom and daughter, but mom was good at eluding the camera.  But…

Oh! and she has the most beautiful bedroom & the cutest bum…

We headed outside to the front porch for a few…until the dreaded head bump!

I just love the bond between a mother and daughter.  I met these two ladies on a beautiful (but chilly) fall day.  Miss S was all show…giving me her best “America’s Next Top Model” walk & pose after pose.  She even made mom get in on the model walk.  Thank you M & S for a fun morning and all the laughs.

Don’t you just love fall?  the color, the smell, the crispness….This shoot was so much fun.  First, we met up at a top secret location.  A location so cool no one can know where it is! I had a lot of laughs with this family, despite the fact that no one wanted their picture taken except mom!  Despite giving mom a hard time you could tell this family really cares about each other and shares a lot of laughter.

Here Comes Baby / Maternity Photography / Langley / Bounce Images

Meet K & T and baby ?.  K works at the daycare where my daughter is cared for when I am working.  K is her special.  In fact, I’ve been told that baby ? has kicked my daughter right in the back during a cuddle with K I don’t think there is anything quite like the anticipation and excitement surrounding your first baby.  It was my pleasure to photograph these awaiting parents during such a special time.  K is due in 3.5 weeks.  Doesn’t she look amazing?  Baby bellies make me happy.
